I learned how to play the bass guitar in 1972 by watching my dad's band rehearse. Self taught as they say. One day the bass player didn't show up for practice and "the rest is history" I was only 10 and excited to play with my dad in his band The Traveling Entertainers which lasted for 8 years.

During the next 12 years I played with various bands including Liberty, Artie Minz and the Country Men, and The County Drifters.

In 1992 I started playing with Badger Crew doing festivals, fireman's picnics, and weddings and many clubs throughout Wisconsin. Three years later along came Sturgeon Eddy who I played with for over 25 years! I have also played with other bands during my many years with Sturgeon Eddy including Iron Horse, Nite Trax and Wayward Sons.

In January 2019 I was asked to play a charity event for the MACC fund with a few friends. Little did I know that event would be the beginning of this awesome musical group. The Shad Lads

Throughout my 47 years of fun I've played many genres of music with very talented musicians. I have made many lifelong friends and enjoy getting together with them to "jam" whenever possible.
